Everyone should brush and floss. But there
are a few extra tips you can follow to make
sure your teeth stay healthy and strong.


1 If you like snacks, try to eat stuff with less
sugar, like fresh veggies, pretzels or cheese and crackers. You can also try to chew sugarless gum or eat snacks less frequently.
2 Make sure you have a good toothbrush. Even the best toothbrushes will wear out after a few months. Get a new toothbrush every 3 months, or when the bristles begin to wear out.
3 Make sure that you brush for 2 minutes every time you brush your teeth.
4 Don't forget to brush your tongue. It’s kind of fun and it keeps you
from having stinky breath.
5 Look for ways to make brushing fun. If you have brothers or sisters, start a contest to see who can brush their teeth the longest and best.
