Incisors and canines are for biting, ripping and tearing food
Bicuspids and molars are for crushing and grinding food

On the diagram above, mark the teeth that bite, rip and tear one color, and the ones that crush and grind another.

You have to keep all your teeth healthy because each one is part of the team that keeps your mouth working well!

  • Brush twice a day (after breakfast and before bed)
  • Floss
  • Eat healthy foods and avoid frequent sugary snacks
  • Visit the dentist twice a year
